Dytran 3903A Accelerometer

The Dytran 3903A is a rugged, triaxial IEPE accelerometer designed for high-amplitude, high-frequency vibration measurements. Featuring both mechanical and electrical filtering, it prevents signal saturation in extreme environments. Its hermetically sealed, stainless steel housing and quartz planar shear sensing elements ensure reliable, low-noise performance across all three axes, making it ideal for demanding aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications.

Description

The Dytran 3903A is a robust, triaxial IEPE accelerometer designed for high-amplitude, high-frequency vibration environments. Engineered with quartz planar shear sensing elements and housed in a hermetically sealed stainless steel enclosure, it offers mechanical and electrical filtering to prevent signal saturation. With a sensitivity of 10 mV/g and a frequency response from 0.5 Hz to 10,000 Hz, the 3903A delivers accurate, low-noise measurements across all three axes. It supports shock levels up to 7,000 g and operates reliably in temperatures ranging from −60 °F to +250 °F, making it ideal for aerospace, automotive, and industrial testing applications.
