Dytran 3371B1 Accelerometer

The 3371B1 is a compact, lightweight IEPE accelerometer designed for high-temperature environments and applications requiring minimal mass and excellent linearity. With a titanium housing and quartz shear sensing element, it delivers reliable performance in aerospace, automotive, and industrial settings.

Description

This sensor provides a nominal sensitivity of 2.0 mV/g, with a full-scale measurement range of ±500 g peak. It offers a frequency response of 0.64 Hz to 3,000 Hz within ±5% deviation, and extends up to 10,000 Hz within ±15%. The resonant frequency exceeds 40 kHz, ensuring excellent dynamic performance. The maximum electrical noise floor is 0.012 g RMS, and the sensor maintains linearity within ±1% of full scale. It also features a maximum transverse sensitivity of 5% and a strain sensitivity of 0.002 g per microstrain. Environmentally, the 3371B1 is capable of operating in temperatures ranging from −40 °F to +347 °F (−40 °C to +175 °C). It can withstand shock levels up to ±5000 g peak and has a thermal sensitivity coefficient of 0.028% per °F (0.016% per °C). The sensor is hermetically sealed using an epoxy/welded construction.
