Description
Type 4948 is a 1/2″ CCLD surface microphone intended for use on airplane surfaces during in-flight testing. The microphone is also well suited to wind-tunnel testing, limited spaces, or near to hard reflective surfaces.

The microphone offers high mounting flexibility and its diaphragm is flush with microphone housing in order to minimize the effect of wind-generated noise on the microphone.
