Description
Hydrophone Calibrator Type 4229 is designed to calibrate HBK Hydrophones Type 8100, 8101, 8103 and 8105. The hydrophone calibrator provides a quick and easy method to calibrate sound measuring systems employing HBK Hydrophones, in air.
If required, sound pressure levels produced in the couplers can be monitored by a 1/2-inch microphone, giving a calibration accuracy of within 0.3 dB. The hydrophone calibrator is compact and battery operated, suitable for both field and laboratory use.
